Rubrics for Teaching

The Teaching Academy has developed a number of rubrics to help you gather evidence of teaching effectiveness from your students, yourself, and other professionals for Digital Measures.

The following rubrics are for use by NMSU faculty:

• Syllabus and Other Course Materials Rubric
• Video Recording and Classroom Visitation Rubric
• Open-ended Student Evaluation
• Online Course Design Rubric, PDF format or DOC format

Access

Access to these rubrics is restricted to NMSU educators. When you click to download one of these rubrics, you will be prompted for a username and password. If you don’t have the Teaching Academy username and password (which is not your NMSU Banner username and password), please contact Jean Conway at econway@nmsu.edu.

These rubrics are provided in PDF format. You will need to have Adobe’s Acrobat Reader software installed to download and print the PDF format. You can download the reader free from Adobe.
